This tour was just fabulous. Kevin is a walking encyclopedia of historical information. I've lived in the NY suburbs for most of my life and walked by buildings in NY wondering more about them.. now I know. Learning about the families, mansions, customs etc was such a highlight. Now I want to do all the other tours.. BRAVO!!

This feels like I am giving up a long-held secret, or the combination to a safe of untold treasure. When you experience something this incredible, the natural instinct is to run in two directions. One is to secrecy and keeping it all to oneself. The other is to share it with everyone you know. Fortunately, this is something too good... More

9 friends did this tour together and although we are from CT, and familiar with NYC, we all learned a lot and enjoyed going up 5th Ave and seeing it with more appreciation. Kevin Draper was full of interesting stories and background on the buildings, people and history of the Gilded Age. This was an amazing day, and we loved... More

Kevin Draper took four adults and one teen on a walking tour of NYC. He showed us parts of the city we would never have found on our own. His historical knowledge is deep and well researched. He was able to answer all our questions on the fly. We will be using him again for sure to further familiarize ourselves... More

I took my Dad on this tour for his birthday. Even as natives of the tri-state area we marveled at some of the buildings we never noticed prior to this tour. The stories and history of the Gilded Age in New York is absolutely fascinating. Our guide, Kevin, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

We went on the two hour gilded age tour. Kevin our guide was very knowledgeable, and kept us moving and showed great examples of gilded age architecture and had awesome stories and anecdotes. You could tell he had knowledge and enthusiasm. It was genuine. Great tour.

Kevin kept us captivated with his great Gilded Age tour! The two hours flew by. Our teenagers enjoyed it as well. We chose him due to his great reviews, and were not disappointed! If we visit New York again I would love to try some of his other historical tours. Highly recommend!

We did a private version of the tour after going to the play Hamilton. Kevin was great! He took extra time to show us things we would never have seen. He was so knowledgeable. Not just about the topic, but about anything we saw about which we had questions. He really opened our eyes to a New York we never... More
