This was humbling and beautiful. We won't ever forget that day and the memorial really takes you back to where you were and what you were doing, made the humanity lost palpable.

The memorial is a very picturesque place, where he was born the twin towers of the World Trade Center. The place makes you think and makes me s'oca skin to the emotions and feelings that creates during the view.

I wasn't expecting much, but very glad I went. Feeling of solitude & sadness along with memories of the day it happened. If you're in NYC, don't miss this. Never Forget. ;(

This was a difficult stop to make, but an important one for closure and respectful acknowledgement. Enough time has passed that plenty of youngsters do not understand the solemness of the location, but I guess that's just what happens.

This place is absolutely stunning. The security guards on foot are rather rude, but this memorial is an absolute tribute. One of the female security staff was mainly just being a hater, but she told me to hold onto my bike the entire time I was there and then even attempted to push her body against me as if to... More

I have lived downtown for over half my life & lived through the horror of 9/11 and its aftermath. On at least a weekly basis I walk past the reflecting pools and always stop for a few minutes to honor those who we lost on the horrible day. Although always crowded with tourists one can always find a quiet spot... More

What to say ? I was very surprised, what they created from such a beautiful twin tallest NY towers. Must see for sure. Loved the water and waterfalls around it. Would have never thought they put water in it. We had a view overlooking it right from hotel and hotel room, but it did not look anything like it, unless... More
