We ordered the "ROYALE" seafood platter. Clams, oysters, shrimp and a little lobster. A special, which I was unable to try (because it sold out) was fish in lemon sauce. Two of our party had burgers which they liked, one had a lobster roll and...More

One thing I learnt was to never trust a restaurant's food by its looks. Paid tons of money for absolutely terrible food and extremely poor service. The restaurant itself looks nice; ambience is great, it's just the quality of food that's horrifying. There are some...More

Great neighbourhood tavern serving solid pub food. The staff were super friendly and attentive even though the place was packed. Tables are very close together but the atmosphere is buzzy and loud. Good place for a group to eat as they can handle the volume...More

My husband and I visited PJ Clarke's this past weekend. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this historic venue! Our meals were superb! My eyes were bigger than my tummy! My crab cake was divine.... and I'm a Maryland girl, so I'm extra picky!...More

Head on into this classic NYC bar for some old school oysters on the half shell and good drinks. The room in the back is larger and there are many more tables. Bar in the front is cozy and traditional. Good spot!

Visited tonight, had a drink in the bar first as we hadn't reserved a table so we had a ten minute wait. Food , service and atmosphere excellent. We really enjoyed and would recommend this bar/ restaurant.

Five of us enjoyed this bar/restaurant because of the menu choices. Other than waitress pushing us to order more, and feeling rushed, was good choice. Worth stopping in for historical atmosphere alone.

P J Clarke's is a Manhattan institution. I first went here in 1975 or so. It is a classic bar with a stunning old world ambience. Hip, cool, and happening it is not. There is a full service restaurant in back. Great place to have...More
