We have young kids and they loved their trip to the wax museum. It was amazing, and best of all, it didn't take all day. We were there for two hours, and still had time to enjoy other sites in the city. The Marvel 4D experience was the hallmark of the trip.

Purchased tickets online to avoid lines-had to wait 20 minutes before we were allowed to walk upstairs- elevator was longer! We had a 2pm Ghost Buster experience time- walked through and made it to check in at 1:55- then we were told to "check in" at one of 4 kiosks- you have to scan each ticket- create username and sign-... Great experience for the entire family. I was there with my kids (12 and 9) and mother. It is an awesome destination for a variety of ages. The wax figures were amazing! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. We arrived soon after opening so there was hardly a crowd. Wax hands were a huge hit for the kids.... More

We went mid day not crowded. Ghost Busters was fun. Did not want to wait in line for Wax hands or Marvel experience.

Couldn't wait to leave. Some really good wax figures but not worth the $32 paid. Wouldn't recommend.

Our first ever MT visit was in Washington DC and we had an amazing experience. So when we were planning a NYC trip for my daughters 10th bday, this was at the top of our list of must do. Our tour started off just as fantastic as expected. I had 2 children aged 10 with me. We took lots of... More

It's cute, the statues, some were the famous faces you want to see.. there were themes and exhibitions, but not what you'd expect from NY! It was rather small, not as interesting as I thought, specially comparing with others. But nice if you've got kids and you are in the mood for those funny pics.

Since it was a school vacation there seemed to be an unusual amount of children so it made for some slow movement thru the displays..but overall it was good. The workmanship is great..some looked more realistic than others but really was impressive. I am glad we went but I would not go again!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
