You call, we listen, and then suggest the perfect day for you in the most interesting neighborhoods: Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Times Square and many more, sampling the best foods the City has to offer. This is nothing like a bus tour; it's a personal experience where the history is part of the tour, but the behind-the-scenes stories are part of us.

My husband and I took the High Line, Greenwich Village, and Historic Downtown tour during our visit in May. The tour was wonderful. Our tour guide did a great job showing us the city. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the Bleecker Street pizza.

Great fun! If you haven't done one put it at the top of your list. Alex was a fantastic guide. He knew the history of the area as well as all the good restaurants! He took us to five different restaurants and all were great. We even went back to one for a full meal.

Four of us were in NYC and joined the food and historic combo Tour. Todd was a great guide. He was informative and nice - it was a pleasure to spend an afternoon with. Come hungry because there was a lot of great food.

We were three foodie friends visiting NYC for a few days. We booked a walking food tour with Manhattan Walking Tours during a torrential Nor'easter. We showed up at the first restaurant wet and hungry. Our wonderful guide Jen gave us the history of Hell's Kitchen including the restaurants we would visit. She was very knowledgeable and made it so... More

Recently returned from a wonderful time in NYC, Even endured the 2017 record rainfall that topped the previous record set in 1871. We participated in the High Line/Greenwich Food Tour. Our guide was Todd, and what a wonderful person to lead the way and fill us in on the highlights. Never expected we would have to cancel our dinner plans... More

Nancy Paris was a fun and engaging tour guide with interesting knowledge about points of interest all along our route. We did lots of walking but at a nice pace with breaks here and there to chat with the group and take in the ambiance. Every food experience was truly delicious and authentic. I'm a bit of a foodie and... More

We had a great time with Nancy Paris. This is our second tour with her and she is delightful, knowledgeable and fun. I'd been to Grand Central many times but didn't know the history and insights that Nancy shared. It is an amazing work of architecture as well as a place where one has so many eating choices - not... My wife and I did the tour with Nancy. We are from New York (Long Island). To be honest, i wasn't expecting much. Boy was I wrong! it was great! Nancy was knowledgeable, fun, energetic... There was more to the High Line than i was aware of. The Village has always intrigued me. The buildings, the people, the food. Nancy... More

Nancy Paris is like having this amazingly informative fun friend show you all the best of New York and tell you all the things you didn't know that make New York even more interesting and inspiring. I did the triple pack of High line, West Village, Downtown - and had the best time. I have lived here for 9 years... More

My wife, younger daughter and I spent a delightful late April afternoon with Alex noshing our way through some recently discovered (by us) and undiscovered culinary gems followed by an informative walk through portions of Central Park that ended outside of the Dakota Apartments and a surprise sighting of Yoko Ono. Alex guided us through another Manhattan Walking Tour last... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
