The Strand is a must-visit for bookworms! The miles of stacks and selection of both new and used books can keep one entertained for hours. I will admit the store is crowded and not well air conditioned, but I think it adds to the charm.

If you want to look unique books like theatre plays, romance novels or just random books on sale (can be as cheap as 3usd), go here. Prices are affordable, staffs are nice, books well organized. If you are looking for a particular book, just ask the staff and they will help you immediately.

This is an absolute must visit if you are a lover of books. My daughter and I spent hours browsing the stacks. They also carry many other fun items, we bought our favorite souvenirs here.

Wow -- what an amazing place. I always feel a little emotional pain when I enter the store because I know I will eventually have to leave. I've never had enough time to explore anything more than a tiny corner of it. Sigh. Our kids feel the same way.

This is a great bookstore whether you are shopping or just people watching. The basement is my favorite. It can be overwhelming when looking for a particular book but the staff is great and will find it for you. Definitely worth a visit.

Different atmosphere to the nearby Barnes and Noble; this is organised chaos and is a joy for all book lovers. Easy to get lost here, so much to enjoy and books you have never heard of. It has everything.

Their tag line is "18 Miles of Books." With over 2.5 million new, used, and RARE books, The Strand is a place where you could easily lose a few hours just meandering around. I love books and consider myself a collector, but I also spent lots of time choosing some unique gifts. Something for everyone.
