We could have spent a long time here. There is lots of merchandise as well as books, pins, stationary even socks! Lots of sections to wander around. Loved it!

The Strand is just so cool! They have so many books and other fun gifts. They also frequently host authors and fun social events. Book lovers must visit! Also a great place for NY souvenirs!

I fell in love with this place, I ended up buying 3 books, magnets, bookmarks, pins and even a mug.. I absolutely loved it! the staff was rude but the place was so amazing that I didn't paying attention to that

Very rude staff but great inventory. Had great lighting and well organized. Huge display of socks, book marks and book bags. No doubt they cater toward “left leaning” clients.

Hidden away on a side street near Union Square there it is. Surrounded by bins of $1 books the narrow doors beckon one inside. This store is for book lovers only. All others will most likely be in and out in thirty minutes or less....More
