If you love books, this is the place for you. Still has the independent bookstore vibe and too many discount books on rack just on the outside of the building to peruse. Fun magnets, bags, and nick nacks too.

Lots of positives: + vast selection of books + great recommendation tables + helpful staff + new and used books + not corporate Apart from Kinokuniya in Asia, I don't know of any rival for world's best bookshop. A must visit when coming to NYC.

This bookstore is so overhyped it is annoying. The staff are not amiable because they feel their reputation is all they need to satisfy and they fail miserably. I couldn't find the book I wanted , and the staff is repugnant; hence I feel the...More

Although printed books seem to be a dying breed you wouldn't know it by the number of people shopping here. They have an excellent selection that spans multiple floors. I highly recommend to avid readers!

This is an amazingly large and well-stocked bookstore. Not only with books, but it also has a great variety of fun home and decor items for book lovers! I definitely recommend it. I must note though that its used books section does not have as...More
