Huge bookstore on Broadway. Found by accident and what a surprise to find an old fashioned bookstore amongst the concrete jungle. Wort a look.

Four floors of books of all kinds and all subjects. It is always a pleasure to explore the various books in this wonderful store. Today, I signed up for a lecture and discussion with author Leslie Jamison - an evening which was perfectly organized and...More

It is worth coming and taking a look at. The store is multiple floors and it is worth taking a trip to the top floor to see the rare books.

We were on vacation and travelling very light so knew that we wouldn't be buying any books. Having heard and read so much about The Strand, we had to visit. Their profession that there are 18 miles of books doesn't appear to be an exaggeration...More

My teenage kids and I love visiting bookstores wherever we travel. The Strand was recommended to me by another bookworm. It definitely lived up to its reputation. There are books on 3 levels with vinyl records for sale on the lowest level. My only disappointment...More

Wow, an old fashioned bookstore with shelves to the ceiling and books everywhere. Take some time to browse all 3 floors. They even carry cute gift items.
