Great experience. Lots to look at and got some great bargains and every single member of staff said "hello" to us. When we asked for help they couldn't do enough for us.

This was my first visit to Bloomingdale's and it won't be the last! The shop was spotless and the staff were so friendly and very eager to advise you on where things were located. There was some great bargains the day we went.

The visitor centre will give you a discount card once you register, photo ID was asked for, we never had this but a credit card was accepted. We were lucky that for the week of 10th April it's a massive 25% off. This was not accepted for high end items

Worth a quick selfie outside for remembering the friends programs but expensive inside so literally left swiftly.

More upscale than most department stores, and one can find staff to help. So it's a pleasant enough shopping experience. But in the end, just a big store. Prices are a bit high.

Bloomingdale's years ago used to be my go to place for sweaters, jackets, slacks, suits, almost no matter what I was looking for it would be there. Now Bloomingdale's is completely different. I could not find anything worthwhile getting during my last couple of times cruising the store. It's not just the place I cut through from Lexington Avenue to... More

This was okay I was actually disappointed in the famous Bloomingdales store. The best bit was the area we ate in (which is lower floor) we had an amazing freshly made turkey burger with sweet potato fries and our server was wonderful. A great find in an ever so average store.

All standard products but with higher prices than Macy's. Nothing special, and the confusing layout only serves to frustrate if you're actually to buy something.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
