Even with the somewhat mixed trip advisor reviews, I was looking forward to trying Campbell apartment. I was mainly interested in what seemed to be interesting architecture. Arriving at about 6 PM on a Tuesday night the place was packed. I don't mean hopping, exciting...More

Our bartender at our hotel told us about this bar, and I don't think we would have found it otherwise. We arrived probably at the busiest time possible - 5pm on a Friday evening, but we still found a spot at the end of the...More

While I appreciate history and tradition, old, dusty and tired doesn't cut it. We found the dark carpet, dark wood and overall dim lighting sort of sad and depressing. The noise level is off the charts loud. A glass of house red wine was $17...More

A cozy lounge hidden away in at the upper level of Grand Central Station. Great spot for happy hour or pre/after dinner drinks with your date or a group of friends. It is set up like an old apartment and will give you the sense...More

It is a hidden spot behind the Grand Central - when you enter you have the feeling that you travel in time (in the past, let's be clear). The cocktail list is long enough - I have tried a number of them - Prohibition Punch...More

We arrived around 2 PM after a quick tour of Grand Central Terminal. This place is hidden, so you will have to go out of your way to find it. Do not expect cheap prices. Four drinks cost us $100, but it was well worth...More

It's a gorgeous space and has a lot of charm. It's also a pricey place to have a drink. If you don't have a problem spending extra dollars, this is the place to have a drink in Grand Central that's more intimate than the places...More

Hi, I know that I am going to be dressed in shorts when I visit, and plan to be in GCT around noon, but how strict is Campbell Apartment about just "sightseeing"? I am assuming I wouldn't be able to purchase a cocktail since it's proper attire, but it's noon, on a Saturday in the middle of July... There's no way I'm going to be dressed for a night on the town... I just want to see the space.
