Astrid our tour guide was awesome enjoyed the tour. Discovered that craft beers taste different in nyc than our beers here in Maryland

My boyfriend and I went on the Urban Oyster Fermented NY Craft Beer Crawl on Sat. 1/14 with Astrid and it was phenomenal! We had such a great time and learned a lot about many different types of beer and got to visit some awesome bars. Astrid was a wonderful guide and was able to answer any and all questions... More

Myself and a friend took the Brownstone Brooklyn food tour and it was really enjoyable. We were the only 2 people on the tour which made it really small and personal. Our guide Josh was fantastic, knowledgable about all sorts of things NYC, the foods we were tasting and all of the establishments we visited. We went to 9 different... More

In the past three months my husband and I participated in each of the above walking tours, the first with Dave in early November and the second with Brian on 1/2/17. We thoroughly enjoyed each! They were so informative and fun, even though it rained on our Midtown walk on 1/2/17. We especially loved the small groups. Both Dave's and... More

Josh was the perfect host and guide for our Brewery Tour. He was very personable and had loads of information to share about the start of breweries in NY. We had a lot of fun on this unique tour and will definitely do it again!!

This was a great tour, we lucked out as there were only two of us on the tour, but having said that Josh our guide was as we say in English the bees knees. He's a great guide giving just enough info to not sound like a teacher and always talking at you, but any question you had he knew... More

My wife and I did 2 different tours while on a weekend trip to NY. We did the Brooklyn Brownstone tour and the Manhattan cocktail tour. First I'll talk a little about the Brownstone tour. One of the common themes on both tours was the absolute fantastic tour guide we had - Brian Hoffman. I just can't say enough about... More

Our tour leader Brian was wonderful. He guided us thru Chinatown and the few remaining Jewish restaurants. His knowledge of the history of the immigration to this area was fascinating. He also took us to several Chinese shops and restaurants we would never have entered on our own. Have you ever eaten fresh Chinese jerkey - we had seconds. We... More

I took a NYC Cocktail Tour with a private group. Brian was our tour leader. Brian was super enthusiastic and a fun guide with great historical knowledge of the St. Marks area we were touring. He made all the stops feel special and took very good care of the whole group. I would definitely do this tour again and it... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
