Heart of NY and a must visit place during summer season. In winters , it’s not a park , and is more like a commercial place :) lots of shops , eateries and of course the winter ski 🎿 area in the center of the park .

I like it in summer . Green and love to take a walk here . Very close to Times Square, NY library and other places in NY . Restrooms available and is generally crowded ! Expensive food and other things around . There is a train station near . Overall a very good place . Paid parkings around .

Bryant Square is right next to New York Public Library in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

When I visited alot of the park was covered as they were preparing for the Christmas market however there were still plenty of places to sit.

Bryant Park covers a few square blocks. It is situated between 5th and 6th Avenue and 40th street. It’s really nice and alternates what is in the park over the seasons.

“I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
... becuse it was on the itinerary of my 18 kn walk- listed as a place to stop and inspect and report on TripAdvisor. It was nice and pleasant, but not so much a tourist destination.

Lovely place to visit and cool off. They do a great movie night here so the kids would love it.

The only negative is that there is a lot of people smoking cannabis in NYC. You walk into it constantly.. there is meant to be no smoking in Bryant park but people are smoking weed and it’s super strong when you are trying to enjoy your coffee.

We visited here on a Sunday morning on our way to brunch. Around 10am, the park was hopping with many foursomes playing petanque (a game similar to bocce ball with stainless steel balls). It was very competitive and fun to watch!

It was great to see the gourmet coffee concessions and bakeries thriving. Bryant Park has a very Parisian feel. My favorite part was the large lawn. It was perfectly green! By late spring/early summer, the lawn will be perfect green space in this urban oasis.

Great park to sit and relax with a friend, your morning coffee, a bit to eat or all of the above. Lots of tables and chairs for everyone. Such a great spot to enjoy in Manhattan!

I enjoy going here on Fridays after a long day of typing endlessly in front of my computer screen. I especially love the arrival of Spring when I can just lie down on the grass and close my eyes beneath the blue sky and underneath trees awakening from their winter slumber.

Across the street is a Whole Foods where you can get a bunch of grapes and slop. Also, there's this wonderful Japanese bookstore. Next door is -The- massive Public library.

Often times, there are events such as movies, readings, ice cream festival, and classes. There is a bunch of free stuff you can check out like: board games, books, non-structured mini golf, and ping pong. The park only provides gaming equipment during live hours.

And on certain Fridays, there are food stalls with fantastic food and wine.

In the Winter, there's an ice skating rink where you can rent skates.

Be sure to check this place out!
