Dedicated to helping locals and visitors alike enjoy the unique wonders of New York City, Classic Harbor Line hopes for the privilege of escorting you on a relaxing, inspiring and breathtaking cruise through the waters we proudly call home. Our three classic yachts – the Schooner Adirondack and the Schooner America 2.0 (our sailboats), and the Luxury Yacht Manhattan (our motorized yacht) are reminiscent of the classic boats that cruised the NYC waters a hundred years ago.

The tour is just outstanding - very knowledgeable architect as a guide, with great information about many of the city's buildings. Truly fascinating! However, it is listed as being accessible and that is not the case. You have to walk down an unstable ramp, and walk across a step onto a boat that is rocking. The bathrooms are downstairs and... The whole experience including boat, tour guide, sights, and learning experience were terrific. This is a must do NYC activity. The American Institute of Architecture guide was brilliant, well spoken and entertaining. I will do this again when friends come to town.

Two friends and I went on the Fall Colors Sunday Brunch cruise. mid-October. We were expecting the colors to be gorgeous, and they were. We figured the brunch would play second fiddle to the cruise, but were pleasantly surprised to find the quality and selection of food outstanding! The cabin was enclosed, but the windows could open in case the... More

A wonderful overview of all of Manhattan given by an extremely knowledgeable architect. A lovely boat with a great crew, too.

Excellent tour with my blind partner. There was plenty of detailed description and he really enjoyed the "virtual' tour. Added extra: the hummus and greek treats were delicious.

Though the boat was not even half full, we could not hear the narrator. And, we would have liked much more information shared with us about what we were seeing on our cruise as we had gotten on a competing line. The boat itself was impeccable and the staff was friendly. Next time we'll try the "architectural cruise" and hopefully,... More

Months before our visit, we booked in for a 3pm Architecture Tour. Shortly before the day, we got a message to say that this particular tour was not now happening and they would give us a 'complimentary' tour for a Sunset Sail instead. We decided to do that instead but were disappointed about the original plan. Not so sure about... More

It was a great cruise, the manhattan is a lovely boat. You get to see the trees in all their different colours and the city on one side. The brunch was great 4 courses and a huge amount of food.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
