We believe in Food Tour Freedom. Whatever ticket type you choose you get to...

We believe in Food Tour Freedom. Whatever ticket type you choose you get to eat what you want and how much you want. We think that's much more fun! Very unique subway and/or walking experiences available as part of a guided public tour or guided private tour that is different from most standard guided food tours. We also offer self-guided On Your Own Experiences which are food walk-throughs of various New York neighborhoods and are designed to help save you money over eating in tourist restaurants. Our self-guided On Your Own Experiences can be used as a tour, a list or as a tour first to sample and you can return to your favorites for full meals. Each Experience also includes some low cost breakfast options near major tourist attractions. Our guided tours are true eating tours, not sampling tours and we also offer restaurant recommendations (as noted in many reviews) on our guided tours to help you eat well and save money for the rest of your trip. You'll see non-tourist neighborhoods in a relaxed manner and while on the guided tours you will be mingling with others from around the world in a larger group format that is much like a field trip. For those who do want to experience great restaurants and save money we offer our Customized Restaurant Concierge Service. This is a personal service available through by contacting us directly that helps you save and eat great based on your lodging location, attractions you are seeing, food preferences and budget. To experience a culture one must experience their cuisine and since New York is the world's melting pot its many cuisines is its shared culture. Food On Foot Tours takes visitors beyond the tourist attractions to the largest buffet in the world, New York. You'll see the neighborhoods where New Yorkers live and eat. You'll share our passion for all things New York and travel the way New Yorkers do, by subway and foot.

With our guide, Corey, leading the way and keeping the group together, we discovered some great small places to sample a variety of delicious food in Midtown West, venturing into the culinary delights of Hells Kitchen. Skipping breakfast, we ate small amounts at each stop leaving room for the next taste until we couldn't eat another thing, Great value. We... More

Fantastic and Wonderful. Saw a glimpse of New York that would have been impossible without Corey's knowledge and experience. Go hungry, wear good footwear and be prepared to mingle - taking with your mouth full of pizza is encouraged! Also take a pen and note pad - to fit everything in you have to go at a "New York pace"... More

I am a high school teacher, and I take a trip each spring to NYC with a group of graduating seniors. The Food on Foot Tour is, by far, one of our favorite activities. Corey is fun and informative. The food is fantastic, and the kids love trying authentic NYC cuisine. I love this tour so much I am planning... More

Went on the tour today with Corey, who was great. He was really knowledgeable about the food and the areas we were in, he seems to genuinely love what he does and wants to help you love food in New York! Would recommend.

We booked the tour and it ended up pouring rain, but Corey still made it enjoyable. This is they way to see a city -- by eating your way through it. Lots of information on the city, choices and of course food. I'd recommend this tour. The only downside is that the price is similar to other food tours, but... More

Although the weather was pretty dismal, which made Coreys job harder, he managed it with fun, gusto and that New York charm. With some great treats to eat around the east village, lots of local knowledge. Take his advice on each stop and you wont go far wrong and this is coming from a bit of a european foodie myself,... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
