My 18 year old daughter and I spent half a day shopping in SOHO and got some great stuff at good prices! Lucky we were restricted by time!!

Loved the shops in Soho area. It was our favorite after the fanciness that is there at 5th avenue. My wife loved going in the designer shops and there are lot of deals if you visit at the right time.

In recent visits this has become my favorite area in NYC. A combination of amazing galleries, boutiques, brand shops and the famous home of the Cronut and other gastronomic wonders.

If you like shopping this is a great place to spend a few hours. Plenty of stores to keep you occupied. I didn't find as many deals here as I did elsewhere in the, but it was nice to visit.

If you want to spend the day shopping and eating, this is one of the better places in NYC to do so. Some outstanding bakeries and coffee shops.

Between the shopping, the quaint bars, and the restaurants, you will have plenty to do in SoHo. There are a number of boutiques for high end shopping, and a number of bars to chill out and catch your breath.

A trip to NYC is never complete without a shopping trip to SoHo! It has a drastically different feel than 5th Avenue! It is more quant with cobble stone streets, smaller eateries, but also the high-end designers but less crowded! Also designers you can't find...More

SoHo is a hangout for foodies, artists, and trend setters - although the area has been trendy for a few decades now. But SoHo like other NYC areas is constantly changing. A bar or restaurant closes and some new and trendy comes along to fill...More

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to

Most anywhere in NYC you should check out advanced reservations, as even places that normally don't have reservations may have a New Year's event. Depends what you like, but Arturos on Houston is a great bar with brick oven... More
