We walked the entire area. Lots of shopping, bars and food outlets. Everyone is soo friendly and helpful. Most enjoyable!

I wandered thru SoHo on a recent trip to NYC. Frankly, I found SoHo kinda SoSo. I didn't see anything that made it special. Maybe I missed something.

If you like Designer shopping, high end dining, bars, galleries and other cultural activities the SOHO area of Manhattan is for you. It is interesting even to walk around. A great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live in NYC.

Go over to 29 E 2nd St at about 2nd or 3rd street and there is a mexican place; great coffee; eggs and chorizo etc. Called Rosi's:

Most anywhere in NYC you should check out advanced reservations, as even places that normally don't have reservations may have a New Year's event. Depends what you like, but Arturos on Houston is a great bar with brick oven... More
