Bette Midler was outstanding in Hello Dolly! The theatre was beautiful and a fun evening was topped off with a brief conversation with Rosie O'Donnell on the way out of the theatre. Kinky Boots was hysterical and brilliant. If you are wanting a positive and fun musical I highly recommend this show.

Although the picture says Broadway it is more Times Square I just love the atmosphere and all the hustle and bustle .

Seeing Phantom on Broadway was an experience of a lifetime. Such a beautiful production , from the costumes to the incredible voices of the cast. The actress playing Christine was fantastic. I will always compare any other musical I see in the future to this marvelous show.

This was a special birthday gift and so worth it! These actors are incredible at what they do. We saw the show at 7pm on Friday night. We thoroughly enjoyed it! I was nervous about what to wear but after reading many reviews here on TA, I went with a casual look and fit right in.

I grew up here in the 1950's. I still love it -but corporate America has taken a little away from the big apple. What is SABARROS doing in the city with best pizza anywhere? If you order a pizza from Sabarros in New York you must have been born in a shell! There are too many hawkers which makes it... More

Beware the ticket line...potentially queue for a long time. A better idea is to plan ahead and using an online guide - Broadway for Broke people for example, join lotteries and discover tbe shows that offer 'rush' tickets. Here you join a queue at the theatre prior to box office opening. Tickets limited to 2 person but if there are... More

If you love musicals or just love the NYC you have seen in movies on TV then this street gives a real taste - it just buzzes with energy. If you have the time definitely catch a show! Visit the discount ticket booth on Times Square save yourself a lot of money. I loved Broadway.

There are shows for everyone and every interest. Be sure to check out reduced fee tickets - via lottery or just before the show. If you have a little time and plan well, you do not have to spend a fortune!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
