I never thought getting tickets to a Broadway, or off Broadway play could be so easy! Discounted tickets are available to,purchase at the TKS box office in Times Square. There's people to help you decide what to see. Not all shows have tickets available so you must be flexible. On two different nights we bought tickets to the shows we... More

Broadway can be many things for many people; it stretches for many miles with so many varying neighbourhoods and sights - to most it represents the world's best theatre, so many choices of plays and musicals - it is still the one feature that brings so many thousands of tourists to New York each week. Saw Hamilton and Book of... More

Broadway is just like it looks on the TV - exciting, busy, lively, filled with street artists and fictional characters for photos ops (for a small fee).

Amazing stores and sites to check out. A must for visiting NYC. Just have your walking shoes and check the weather for sure.

Have made several trips to Broadway during my visits to New York and at a loss if do not. Chicago was last show watched and it was amazing, not only the show but the buzz outside of the theatres differs greatly from Europe. The trip itself to a show is a wonderful experience.

Went to see Hamilton - totally worth the price. Was not happy about the incident with VP Mike Pense but the play was excellent. This is a "once in the lifetime" experience.

You can't visit NYC and not walk Broadway. It's always happening, with hawkers and tourists and locals jamming the sidewalks, crosswalks and streets all hurrying to and fro. The essential NYC vibe here as you go hither and yon.

Front Page was fantastic show. Excellent cast with a packed house. An old play but done with skill, energy and good sound system

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
