You wait online for a couple of hours and then perform like a circus monkey clapping and laughing. Have never gotten a giveaway like most shows. The comedy guy Joey kola made us laugh. It killed a couple of hours until our broadway show. If you've never done it than I would do it but wouldn't go out of my... More

My Mom and I went to New York this past Thursday to see RR. We both had never been. I did read a lot of the reviews prior to going and the major piece of advice I can give you is GO EARLY! We got there around 8:45AM. We were number 35 and 36 in line. We had a fabulous... More

Went to a taping on January 17th. Got there early, the wait in line was long but the food truck offers free food. Watching the show is exciting but a lot of work to clap and holler on cue. Guess it was a bad day because Rachael Ray did not interact with the audience at all.We received no gifts, the... More

After reading the reviews on this site, we showed up over a hour early to check in. We were the last group ( 3 ) allowed in. Over 100 people were turned away and given a pass to attend another show in the future. The staff was polite and directed us through the holding area to the stage. The show... More

I arrived in line at 1030 am for 12 noon show, 38 in line. Inside and sitting down in waiting room at 1150am. great access to water, snacks and bathrooms. As a 64 year old man I enjoyed watching the whole process of producing a tv show. Rachael Ray is very pleasant and funny woman that you just want to... More

We went to the December 8th, 10am check in show. Having had gone to a taping of The View four years ago, plus with the information from the Rachel Ray tickets email, we knew to arrive early. Arrived about 8:30am and there were about a dozen people ahead of us. Less then half an hour later, over fifty or so... More

I read a lot of negative reviews after my husband got tickets for a Rachael Ray show taping so was braced to have a less than mediocre time. But...We had a great time! Yes, there's a line outside waiting for taping of shows, not just Rachael's show. We were scheduled for a 1:00 PM check in and arrived about 11:50AM.... More

We went to a taping today and it was the best time . We went in knowing we were part of the tv show making tv. It was the opposite of every negative thing I have heard in this site . Quick process , great snacks in waiting room ( just not enough ) , clean bathrooms and line went... More

Went with friends today to a taping of a Rachel Ray show in Chelsea area of Manhattan. We requested tickets on line a few weeks back and received a confirmation last week. Required about an hour and 15 minutes waiting in the que outside then another half hour to 45 minutes inside in a seated waiting area with free snacks... More

We were early and were ticket numbers 37, 38 and 39 on line. The tickets were color coded by a young man prior to going through security screening. There were 3 colors pink, green and blue. We were blue colored which put us in the last row. It was so obvious that the pink colored tickets were given to good... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
