Very little I can add about the Apollo that hasn't been said before. You can FEEL the history in this place. The theater itself is rather small, but the sound in there is HUGE! They really don't make them like this any more. If you...More

Ledisi gave an extraordinarily brilliant performance in Nina & Me, a tribute to Nina Simone. She took the audience on an emotional journey that was moving, intense, sexy, humorous, and politically charged. Her vocals were breathtaking as she flawlessly rendered numbers such as “My Baby...More

Just meant so much to go to this famous venue. I have been a musician all my adult life and the Apollo has so much history. To be able to stand on the stage where all the greats have stood, Ella, Louis Armstrong, James Brown,...More

We loved amateur night. This was our favorite entertainment in NYC. Performers were of all ages, including some very talented pre teens, teens and adults who were amazing.

Don't miss an event at the Apollo. You won't regret it. I especially recommend the annual performance by the brilliant Ballet Hispanico and/or the ever-popular, ever-entertaining Amateur Night.
