Located in Battery Park the Immigrants statue is a reminder to the past and the people who came to the USA in the past and the despair that some left behind and the hope that they had coming to a new country and that they could build a life in this nation.

This is something that is still relevant today however the immigrants arrive in a different way. I hope they can still be welcomed and accepted. This statue is a reminder that people need love, help and support wherever they have come from.

Cool statue representing all the many types of immigrants that arrived in New York City through New York Harbor. It’s a cool statue in Battery Park and it’s worth seeing.

New York, I’ve discovered this weekend, has loads of statues often just tucked away and half the fun is just stumbling upon them, the immigrants is one such example

Situated in battery park across the water from
Ellis island, the sculpture is an evocative piece of commemorative art

Don’t just come across it, go find it :)

The immigrants statute is located at the bottom of Manhattan. This statute is very confronting but also it’s very real. Gripping!

Down in Battery Park, I just chanced upon this major statue while headed to the Skyscraper Museum. It's moving and well-executed, appropriate for this area.

Right next to castle Clinton. Very beautiful and moving. Must see after coming back from Ellis island. Puts an image to the sacrifice and struggle. Very moving.

This is such a beautiful bronze sculpture located right in the center of Battery Park; such a nice tribute to the immigrants of this wonderful nation.
The piece is very well crafted and the facial expression are incredible; it really captures the emotion of the immigrants that are portrayed. I found it to be very interesting and beautiful.
