Classic historic apartment house on Central Park West. You can see it from the Park and it is noted because of the 2 towers. It is definitely luxury housing.

The San Remo is a beautiful building that has two towers emerging from it. Suspect it’s name has something to do with the peaks.

This is one of the most common New York City postcard photos, The San Remo, with impressive twin towers, is a highlight of any visit to Central Park. As it is not open to public, visitors can only imagine its opulence.

During our walk through Central Park this past March, we stopped to enjoy the natural beauty of The Lake and the view of the San Remo. The spot and area where we took the photo is well known and recommended by others.

While in that area, also make sure to walk down to the lake shore and take in the lake view and the Wagner Cove Boat Landing. It's a small but very unique landing structure.

If you continue walking back up to Cherry Hill nearby, you can get another great view of the San Remo apartment building.

This classic apartment building towers over Central Park West. It's a great addition to the Park skyline and I've always love to gaze at it and wonder what it would be like to live there. Lovely.

Great view of these buildings from Central Park and they contain some of the most expensive apartments in New York City.

While strolling in Central Park everyone is asking what is that building. The famous San Remo apartment buildings towers were a masterpiece from designer Emery Roth and this building was completed in 1930 in true art deco style. The San Remo buildings are luxury apartments and a 3bed 3bathroom apartment well set you back around $16 million.
