Scott's Pizza Tours runs public and private tours of New York's vast pizza landscape by bus and on foot. Every tour stops at multiple pizzerias, each highlighting a different phase in the evolution of the dish from its humble beginnings as a street snack to its current position as New Yorkers' food of choice. Alexis was our tour guide and he made us feel comfortable right from the start. There were sixteen people in the group and he got to know everyone. Alexis was so knowledgeable but didn't overwhelm us with facts either. Would definitely recommend Scott's Pizza Tours!!!

One of the funniest and most tasty tours I've ever been on. The Tour guides were amazing and had a lot of knowledge. It was clear to see that they had a passion for what they did. We sampled some amazing pizzas and learned a lot. I will, without a doubt, go for a tour again, next time I'm in... More

Our guide was great andvery experience. We learned a lot about the history of New York pizza and ate some great pizza too. We stopped at Lombardi's, Joe's and John's, which are all very good classic New York spots. My only complaint is that I would have liked to visit a more off the beaten path place. Our guide tried... Scott was a great guide & an educated pizza conosour! He knew everyone - every where. The bus driver was perfect for NYC traffic, which was peaking even on a Sunday.

While in NYC for foodie weekend, my wife and I decided to take a pizza tour. After some careful consideration, we “eeny, meeny, miny, moed” it and selected Scott’s Pizza Tour for a noontime Saturday walking and tasting tour. We arrived at our first of three stops a few minutes early and found our guide waiting for us. That’s a... More

Who would have guessed that there was so much to learn about pizza? We had a great time that was enhanced by our tour guide's sense of humor. Each place we went to served the best pizza...I cannot pick a winner. We did the Greenwich Village walking tour stopping at Rossomopordo, Ribalta, and Joe's. Each very different, each delicious! Crust... More

We had been to New York many times and didn't know about this tour. We had so much fun and got educated on types of pizza, ovens, styles and more. This is good for any age.

Scott is absolutely the perfect person to do a walking pizza tour of New York City with! Not only is he knowledgeable and a total pizza-nerd (in the best way possible), but he is extremely enthusiastic and happy to guide you on your path of pizza discovery. We did the Crosstown Pizza Walk which began at Lombardi's on Spring Street,... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
