An extremely practical transfer point where you can easily move among subway lines and to the PATH train. This is new and part of the transformed area around the World Trade Center. There is food here and a little bit of shopping

Fantastic looking building and right next door to the world trade centre and 9/11 museum. The shop are nothing special but worth going just to see the architecture.

World Trade Centre trains come in and out of one of the most amazing stations you will ever encounter. It’s simply amazing! Must see!

What a stunning building (inside and out) has been created for the new transport interchange at the WTC. Worth a visit to see in its own right there are also shops inside (including a small ice cream vendor with delicious ice creams). There are 'benches' available to sit on at ground level inside the atrium.

The World Trade Center Station is easy to travel through. The area is very clean, bright and safe. It is easy to find the trains you need for any of your New Jersey/NYC destinations, and the staff, police officers and port authority officers are friendly and helpful.

PATH is bold and maybe even a bit brash, but I loved it. It's unashamedly American, strong, and really did speak "we will not be defeated" to me.

Beautiful design and easy to get around. The subway is very easy to navigate and the colour theme is soothing and bright.

This is the central hub for transport, shipping and restaurants in the heart of the World Trade Centre. The design is amazing.

This is a major transit center where a couple of systems come together. We have been here to take the PATH to Jersey and to hook up with various subway lines. And up on the surface you have the interesting Oculus structure to make to stop and think. Some shopping here.

Every time I visit NYC, I have to come here and just wander around and do some shopping! It's beautiful and the gourmet food court is amazing! Head outside to have lunch or a snack and take in the gorgeous view of the river, boats, and Statue of Liberty! See you in October!

Is there any info about an exhibit behind a small door?

I've heard nothing about this. I'd check the PATH's web site to see if they have any special exhibitions active or planned. Note the adjacent 9/11 Museum does include several displays of how the PATH subway system and its worker reacted under pressure when eh Towers were attacked; this may be what you are thinking of.
