The New York Public Library is huge! Some many levels of books and the beatuiful design of the library is amazing. You can take great picture of the library from the front entrance whaich has two huge lion statue.

I liked the atmosphere, the paintings and the studying rooms . My granddaughter , who traveled with me, told me that she is sure she would like to be be in such a place to study better.

Sorry, I was just there to visit the Rose Reading Room. There's certainly a lot of quiet spaces there. Perhaps you could email or call them.

Yes but be respectful of people's privacy. It is a library after all. There are areas on the second floor computer area or reading room where you might be cautioned by staff to put your camera away.
