If you love books this library is a must see. It's gorgeous inside and out! We spent some time in the Children's Section and that was a highlight for the kids!! Adorable artwork, tons of books and places to read...what more can you ask for?

This library is a must see. The murals, and marble work throughout are mesmerizing. The reading and research areas are quiet and provide a great space to relax.

Yes but be respectful of people's privacy. It is a library after all. There are areas on the second floor computer area or reading room where you might be cautioned by staff to put your camera away.

It's 17 New York blocks, which are smaller than those you'd find in other cities. It's easily walkable, depending on where in Central Park you're coming from.
