This museum doesn’t get the hype that other NYC museums do, but it was fantastic. The rooms focusing on the early history of the city are especially strong with great interactive features. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

Great place to get the complete historical background of this city. Must see the movie first. It’s downstairs and gives a synopsis of all that follows. Such a valuable perspective. Well curated. Interesting
