A most pleasant area to wander, stroll. So unlike nearby streets where it's all rush and hurry. Wonderful views over the water toward New Jersey.

We are in NYC on a family vacation. We met up with some family members who live in the city at this park. Our kids loved it! Our 1 year old basically found a shovel someone had left there and contentedly carried it around and...More

We visited this park after our trip to the 911 memorial. It is on the southwest corner of the island, and is a serene peace of land in what otherwise can be an extremely bustling city. If you're downtown and looking for somewhere to relax,...More

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Catch the Staten Island Ferry for an unbeatable view
of the skyline and Statue of Liberty, or sail to Ellis
