Before I went there, I just knew the "normal" stuf about what happened at that place. Now, after the guided tour, I know a lot more and I have a personal relation to the place. Thank you so much!❤

We had purchased a NY Explorer Pass so headed to the Tribute Center - whilst I was walking around I could see for myself the devastation and heartache caused. BUT the real gem of this place is in the walking tours - we were led by Jim who was working on the 64th floor when the attacks took place and... More

Operated by the survivors and the family members affected by 9/11, this place definitely humanizes the event a lot more, and does show that it is not just something that happened in the news or history books. The items on display, definitely show this, which includes a boarding pass that was recovered at one of the crash sites. And a... More

This is a must. You can walk around the (excellent) memorial garden, but this centre offers a guided tour by people with direct connections to the 9/11 events. We had a gentleman who worked in the trade centre and a lady who lost her son. They walked and talked with their stories, which were incredibly sad but put the whole... More

This was one of the best things we did in NYC. Walking tour with a survivor of Tower 1 on 911. Very informative, very moving. Inside the center was wall to wall of information and pieces from that horrific day. Don't miss this

Booked accidentally instead of main center. It was totally worth seeing. Personal stories from people that were there or who lost loved ones. Walking tour explained so much about the events and the memorial. It was a cold and rainy day, so they found a warm dry place for the bulk of the explanations. Very moving. In some ways, this... This was one of the exhibitions in NYC we really wanted to visit to be able to pay our respects to all the people who lost their lives on that tragic day. The pools were very moving and quite amazing at the same time. The mood around the pools was very emotional you could almost feel everyone saying a little... More

Kind of conflicted on this one. We wanted to absolutely love it, but unfortunately it fell kind of flat for us. The storytelling aspect of the Tribute Center is really interesting, but pulling it off consistently is tough. That said, it was a valiant effort and a fairly unique view of the memorial and the firehouse plaque.

Well worth visiting - we did the tribute centre itself but not the walking tour. Very interesting & great memorial although I found it rather upsetting at some points I would definitely recommend going. Learnt a lot about the trade centres I didn't know.

Kinda booked this tour as a mistake as thought this was the official one but sometimes in life you make good mistakes. The centre itself is heartbreaking with lots of personal stories and artefacts that really bring it home. Then we went on our tour, it's hard to say it was excellent, because that's not really the point, it's not... More
