Really enjoyed going. We had a cold day and just wanted to warm up. Ended up staying for over 2 hours.

We could have spent multiple days at this museum, as there is so much to explore! The history is amazing to witness, as well as the art collection. You don't need to be an expert in any field to enjoy this muesuem.

So much wonderful art it is near impossible to chose where to start or what to see first. We spent about 3 hours and only saw a small portion. We loved the Dutch masters collection which was currently on display. Another favorite was the impressionist...More

Rivals any in the world. Wear comfortable shoes because you can spend the whole day here. If this is your first time in NYC, make it.

Always enjoy the met, whether it is an exhibition or part of their permanent collection. Buy tickets on line. Avoid the lines and frequently there is a deal. Try to take a guided tour while there. It adds so much to your experience.

Wow-this stands with the great Art Museums of the world. Adult tickets allow you to visit three consecutive days (and we did!)-I think you could go every day for a month and not see everything. Outstanding display of antique and unusual musical instruments. Sadly, the...More

Big big museum with a variety of historic gems. A tip would be to choose one time age to discover. So you can manage to remember something from the history. And see that “history repeats itself”.

One may no longer pay a 'suggested' price to enter the museum. There are fixed prices. Adults are $25, Seniors & Students $18. I would also add that it would be a shame not to visit the museum. It's collection rivals that... More
