Incredibly wide offering of archaeology, medieval art, paintings from all relevant centuries. Could easily spend the entire day if the human body and brain could bare it. We were on a Mother/Daughter trip and this was the main pick for my daughter. It was magnificent! Our stay was limited in NYC, so we only had 5 hrs to spend here. In reality, it would take multiple visits to see everything and be...More

I last went on Museum Mile Day in June when entrance was free, but I have been many times before. The Met has never failed to impress me with wonderful exhibits- new and old. A must-visit when in New York

Too much for one day but if one is selective it makes for an incredible visit. Amazing exhibitions and great explanations. Go before the crowds and enjoy at ease.

I don't know. You can pay when you get there. It is donations. You can pay a penny if you want. The food is overpriced.
