Over hyped, excessive security (need to take passport to enter), stroppy boring "couldn't be bothered" guide. However, it was interesting and the building is beautiful.

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Catch the Staten Island Ferry for an unbeatable view
of the skyline and Statue of Liberty, or sail to Ellis

I've seen a few posts say that cameras aren't allowed - do you have to leave your cell phone at your hotel or do they simply not allow you to take them out of your pocket while you're on site? Thanks.
