Yes we primarily went due to the association with the Superman movie but as with so many NYC lobbies its a art deco gem and the revolving globe is cool. well worth a 5 minute stroll from the Crysler building to take a peek.

There is not much for me to say. I went to see the slowly spinning glove in the lobby and it lived up to its expectations. I gave it 4/5 because that's all I was there to do.

Ok so there are some associations with Superman, but the structure itself is nothing particularly remarkable. Or maybe it is just too long since I was a child! Due to it being fairly late in the day when I visited I didn't actually make it...More

The Daily News Building was the home of the Daily Planet for the Christopher Reeve Superman Films. Any fan of the film will get slighly misty-eyed, if only for the helicopter scene from Superman the Movie. Worth the quick walk from Grand Central Station.

I was sure I saw Clark coming out the doors, but he moves so fast...great to see such an iconic building.
