Its a must-see, the architecture of the building is astonishing and the view to the city that doesn't sleep is one of the best in town.

Visited NYC in July 2009 & May 2010. Really like the design at the top of the building. Almost resembles scales on mermaid's tale from Starbucks. Never went up, but you can see it he Chrysler building from various streets in NY.

This is the best example of art deco architecture I've seen. Of course that is what this building is known for. It is as impressive viewed from afar as it is up close. The building is meticulously maintained as a functional office building. The interior...More

Highly recommend to anyone who happens to be nearby - you will not be allowed past lobby (unless you plan seeing a dentist on the 69th floor) but the lobby itself is a small museum.

Beautiful buidling. Too bad they don't allow you inside to view it. Couldn't go past the lobby and only certain areas of the lobby at that.

Beautiful building from up close and afar. Despite being dwarfed by the other skyscrapers, this building is still (in my opinion) the most pleasing on the eye!

This was a must-visit art deco icon for us and it is very close to Grand Central Station so we did both and throughly enjoyed them. The lobby is very beautiful but alas you cannot access the rest of it, still go and enjoy what...More

The viewing deck at the Chrysler Building has been closed for decades, so get your Manhattan views either at 30 Rock or the Empire State, or the magnificent One World Trade observatory downtown. BUT, don't miss the Chrysler... More

Bear in mind that any building you go up will not have that building in the view, so I would recommend going up the rock or one world, as you'll want the Chrysler or the empire state in your view. And eat somewhere else... More
