One of the symbols of New York that must absolutely be seen and savored. If you stay in Manhattan I recommend taking the subway to Brooklyn and walking to it in 10 minutes. unlike years ago, the upper part can only be explored on foot and no longer with bicycles. Only by walking along it can you notice its size and its particularity and even if in winter the walk can be prevented by the cold climate, the visit must be done equally, even for those who suffer from vertigo there are no problems since the distance between the edges is always large. Going at sunset you can admire the illuminated skyscrapers of Manhattan while during the day you can see the amount of traffic that passes through it. You can't leave New York without having gone through it. Architecturally it is one of a kind

Embarked on a delightful day out with friends to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, it was an absolute blast! We lucked out with fantastic weather, which set the perfect backdrop for some pictures. The highlight? Long strolls along the majestic Brooklyn Bridge, taking in breathtaking views of the cityscape and the East River. The atmosphere, coupled with the rhythmic pulse of the city, created a memorable experience.

Brooklyn Bridge is a well-known bridge that connects New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan Island. Brooklyn Bridge took 14 years to construct; the bridge opened in 1883. Brooklyn Bridge is a steel suspension construction that's easy to cross; we lived in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn and crossed the bridge several times.

Easter in New York 2019 New York always delivers. Food, museums, shopping and musicals. Stayed with a friend and traveled over there with her + 80 year old mother, went as well as possible. The theme of this trip was lobster, wherever we ate, the ingredient was lobster 🦞😂

I had an incredible time exploring Brooklyn, and walking across the Brooklyn Bridge was truly phenomenal. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting New York it made for an unforgettable day. I can't wait to visit again whenever I get the chance.

Its roadway gracefully spans the East River, connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan. The intricate network of steel cables supporting this iconic structure is a testament to 19th-century engineering brilliance. A professional’s delight, the Brooklyn Bridge stands tall, bridging history and modernity.

Although the bridge is nearly 150 years old, it is an impressive feat of engineering, and still a stunning piece of architecture. Standing at the bottom by the bridge's pylons, one looks 83 m up towards the top of the meter-thick towers. You get the best experience of the trip if you start from the Brooklyn side, because then you get the great view towards Manhattan's classic skyline. At times the space on the bridge can feel a bit cramped, as the bridge is a "Must see" and one of the Top 10 in New York. You can both cycle and walk on the bridge, and more than 4,000 pedestrians and 2,600 cyclists cross the bridge every day. When the bridge was commissioned, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world and the first of its kind to use steel cables.

It's worth visiting and crossing the bridge if you have time on your trip and want to get to know Brooklyn. There are benches along the bridge to rest if necessary. And you can always find a good angle to take beautiful photos. The view of the city is stunning and from there you can see the Statue of Liberty in the background. For those who decided to cross, take the opportunity and visit Dumbo (where you can take a photo with the Manhattan Bridge in the background) and further ahead there is a viewpoint that has a view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The market (time out) is very close and worth a visit.

We went there to watch the sunset. Very easily accessible by metro. However, there are a lot of people, very difficult to get around and we quickly get stopped by passers-by or the sellers present. However, the bridge remains impressive and the view is superb!
