Please people... for your safety and the bikers safety stay out of the biker lane.. this is a lovey walk in the winter or summer. Great views. Great history. Be there Sunday morning and you will be seen on ESPEN. Because the studio uses the bridge as the back drop.

In case you didn't know, New York city is basically a collection of islands and there are more than 2000 bridges + tunnels that connect them all together (and none of them are pretty) I can't tell no difference because majority of them look exactly the same to me but Brooklyn Bridge might be the most famous because it provides the best views of many famous landmarks from one point. Which means its also the most crowded as sometimes there are more tourists than the traffic it was built for. Fun fact Opened in 1883. In early days, they hired the whole fleet of circus elephants to cross the bridge to show the sceptical New Yorkers that it was strong enough to carry the future obese, extra large, overweight Americans.

About a 30 min walk. Great for pictures during sunsets. But bring your makers ! Everyone write down sweet love notes and dates - wish we did so. Careful with the rude bikers

Went here and had a hard time looking for parking. Went to the one under the bridge so we can take pictures.

Beautiful sights going and coming. A friendly place to walk and take photos. If you're in Brooklyn you can walk across to Manhattan and the skyline is always in front of you. You will have to stop and turn around to see the skyline if you walk towards Brooklyn. It took me 45 minutes minimum to cross. I did find a nice coffee shop at the end of the ramp in Brooklyn. While on the Manhattan side you're right near the court system and Wall Street. From the bridge it's about a 15 minute walk to the world trade Center.
