Saw 11 horses during our 3 hour stay and found lots of shells. Not for those with weak bladders or difficulty walking on rough terrain. No bathrooms, benches, etc. Natural habitat; seems untouched.

Beautiful and secluded. Shells every time . Have seen horses only four times - however well worth your time.

I visit here often. I take my own boat, however there is ferry service. The beach is long, relatively flat, and has numerous nice sea shells. Sometimes lots of Sand Dollars too !

When bringing youngsters, always consider how far you are going to want to walk and that they may not be able to handle a long stay at the beach. Until they get older, plan on a shorter visit to the island. If you don't... More
