Oysters on the half shell, great atmosphere, tasty beers, good friends. Exactly what we needed for our beach getaway.

Typical Cape beach, but this one has plenty of good parking for 20 per day. Not much else here, so bring everything you need. Lifeguards on duty during summer. Seals came in close to shore, which was nice to se, otherwise it's just a sandy beach.

Take an hour or two and stop here. We went out to the overlook - incredible view out over the Atlantic. This is where Marconi transmitted the first wireless radio message cross the Atlantic. Be sure to stop at the National Seashore HQ on the way out and learn a little more about that historic event!

This is a great beach if you know what to plan for. All the other beaches we tried were completely full by the time we drove along the cape. There is plenty of parking here, plus bathrooms and changing areas. You do have to walk down the wooden stairs to get to the beach, but no problem once your down... More

We took a trip down the Cape to Wellfleet, actually Marconi Beach a part of the National Seashore Park. It was a great day, hot but with a good breeze. Plenty of parking, but you have walk down a set of large wooden stairs. There wasn't much of a surf and the water was 55 degrees, very cold. We watched... More

I had some time to fill while waiting to meet up with a friend so we stopped at Marconi Beach. It was a windy day, but we encounter a park ranger who had interesting history to tell us about Marconi Beach and the first transatlantic wireless communication. It made the stop so much more worthwhile having the ranger explain things... More

I really enjoyed Marconi Beach. There was plenty of parking. I appreciated the rest rooms, showers and changing areas. Very helpful. The walk to the beach is ok but the stairs down to the beach could be tough for those with walking issues. Once on the beach it was great, Didn't find people sitting on top of each other like...
