We went to a few and this was by far the best beach on the cape, lots of good waves, plenty of sand, easy to access on the newly constructed stairway. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms were nice and there are plenty of changing rooms as...More

We are here for our 35th Anniversary. Marconi Beach was our first stop. We were rock collecting and were not disappointed. Too cold to swim but we were never planning to.

not too many tourists..plenty of parking..to realize Marconi sent messages to England from here..most of the tourists go to the other cape cod beaches..there's no access to the beach..

The headquarters of the national park houses mostly administrative offices but the lobby has a mock-up of Marconi’s wireless station. Marconi Beach is nearby but we were cautioned not to go there because the steps were destroyed during recent storms on the area. Nice display.

We were lured in by the tantalizing aroma of the smoke wafting from the outdoor smoker to the highway. The platters come with slaw (ok), baked beans (so-so), smashed potatoes with gravy (very good). The ribs are the best choice compared to the pulled pork,...More

Walking down the wooden staircase towards the beach you realize just how high those dunes are...and that they continue for as far as the eye can see. Breathtaking beauty - this is the CAPE COD that I had expected...

Take time to enjoy the surf and a history lesson at this beautiful beach. Get there early, well before noon to get a spot, and learn about the early days of trans Atlantic communication and have a great day boogie boarding in the waves.

First the good stuff... Pretty beach with steep dunes behind it. There were lots of seals just offshore which was pretty cool too. The downside was it was pretty crowded near the access area (we were able to get away from the crowd by walking...More

Marconi Beach was named after the Italian inventor Marconi. This place was named for him because Marconi successfully completed the first transatlantic wireless communication between the U.S. and England in 1903 at this site! Informative signs tell the story of this important historical event. The...More

Loved the views from the observation platform. Since it is October the restrooms are all locked up. But we knew to expect that. We saw some surfers getting ready to go out.

Is there somewhere to buy food and rent beach equipment here? Also, if yes, how are the prices? Thanks!

There is no place on the beach site itself to rent equipment. The main road that goes through Cape Cod, all the way up to Provincetown definitely has businesses for all that. I don't know any price information.
