This is one of the finest marshes on the east coast. It's so big that it straddles the length of Wellfleet so it's always around while you're in town. The wildlife is incredible!

I love visiting the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The visitor center/museum is great for children and adults. The trails are just beautiful, and unspoiled. Definitely worth a visit!!!!

Wife and I have been stopping on at the wildlife sanctuary for more that 30 years. Whether you are looking for a nature trail for hike, a museum, or a bookshop specializing in nature and the outdoors, this the THE place on Cape Cod.
