Nice trail, reasonable leisurely walk. Boardwalk was well maintained. Quiet and primordial. Like it so much I went back two days in a row.

Most of the trail is via boardwalk and, down in the swamp, with all other sounds muffled but the distant roar of the ocean, it seemed like another world. Very easy trail, no big hills or places where it was difficult to walk. I would recommend this trail to anyone. None of the pictures I took did it justice.

This short walk is about a mile in length, small incline down to the swamp and small incline out. It's a very easy walk. We took our stroller, although I wouldn't exactly call it stroller friendly. It really felt like a whole different world. There is also scenic views of the ocean on the other side of the parking lot.... More

Perhaps my fifth visit to this unexpected natural gem in the swampy lowlands west of Marconi beach. The trees are gnarled, many with small, stubby branches that resembled Tyrannosaurus Rex arms. Most light does not make it to the forest floor so the colors and shadows are subdued. Many trees groan as the wind rubs them together. Not a place... More

Fun little hike and super easy. Fun to see another ecosystem along the Cape. Sure, like another reviewer said, it's nothing special if you've seen the southern swamps. However, it's neat to see this environment on Cape Cod so close to the coastal zone. If you're looking for a nice way to stretch your legs and take a break from... More

We really enjoyed our walk through the swamp. There is boardwalk style paths throughout, which makes it an easy hike. The trail is not too long and it is really beautiful to see this preserved area on the seashore (very close to Marconi Wireless Station as well so you can see both in a short amount of time).

White Cedar Swamp is an important natural area on Cape Cod, but for anyone who has seen swamps in the southern part of the U.S. this is definitely a little brother. I grew up near the Mingo National Wildlife Refuge in Southern Missouri and this huge cyprus swamp is far more unique and impactful than the white cedar swamp. If... More

We have enjoyed this hike since our boys were about 5 and 8, now 17 and 20. The terrain is all beautiful, and it's an easy and relatively short hike down into the swamp and back up, though not for the disabled due to steps. There can be mosquitoes or biting flies around the lower swamp area. Would have been... More
