It was a hot day but the trails had plenty of shade trees and rest stops. Very natural and typical views of Florida trees. We saw several birds, turtles, lizards and very big bumblebees. We only spent 3 hours but I'm sure if we had...More

We had a good time walking all the trails. The butterfly area was really cute & we saw a couple tortoises. Really cool place.

My wife and I went there 5/7/2017 to enjoy the day, nature and hoped to truthfully see nature untouched by man and only beast. Well, maybe not a beast but birds, animals of that nature kind, insects of many kinds, tortoises, actually your not sure...More

Well marked walking trails, seemed to be more sloughing through sand than I would have expected. My timing may have been bad (middle of the day) but there wasn't much to see in my trip. I've heard about some great wildlife sightings, but not so...More

The Enchanted Forest is a beautiful place to go see and learn about nature. Great for photography or just a nice escape. They seem to usually have a lot of events going on during the weekends too. I recommend this as a single, couple, or...More

Had a wonderful walk here on their nice trails through the wetlands enjoying the variety of plants and the interpretive information. There's a great nature center with info about the ecology of the area. Rock formations were of particular interest.

This is the second time that my wife and I have been here. The first time we pretty much wandered aimlessly around the trails. This time we spent some time in the center and went on a guided tour. Living in the northeast and wintering...More

We were fortunate to be introduced to this gem of a park. Plenty of wildlife and hiking trails, very good facilities.

I would like to visit with my sister. My brother in law has dementia and cannot walk very much. Is there a safe place near a building where he might sit and wait while we take a short walk on a trail. It would do my sister a world of good to have a wee hike in a beautiful place. Thank you!!!

Yes, there are picnic benches near the visitor center building, as well as chairs In a screened building. The educational room inside the visitor center are possible, too.

Is there any lakes or ponds on this trail? Any chance to see alligators?

No alligators there. There is a small frog pond and a canal that flows through, but no alligators.
