It doesn't open until later on in the afternoon but fills quick. We had some snack food and a couple of cocktails, then we sat back and watched the sunset. It was great watching the planes land over the city. Expensive but is on the...More

The views from a top the Hyatt at the bar are like no other as it is the tallest building in the city. However, the lack of service and food/drink prices are outrageous! It took forever for our server to take our order and once...More

Dimly lit, intimate, indoor lounge for expensive cocktails & appetizers. Casual vibe but more fun to dress up. The view can be seen from every floor to ceiling window. Stayed at the hotel too and it's lovely.

Not quite what I expected. Fairly small space with over-priced cocktails. Beer prices are reasonable but cocktails are around $18, so I skipped those. Friends who got them said they were decent. There is a very limited number of appetizers. The view is very nice...More

This was the perfect place to watch the San Diego sunset over the bay. Basically have a 360 degree view of the area from here. A must do for any visitor.

If you want a spectacular view of San Diego Bay, you can't beat Top of the Hyatt! The drinks are a bit pricey but worth it, for the great atmosphere, lite bites and incredible views.

Awesome view, heated pool and 80 degree day . Happy girl. Need a little more help at the bar as the lines are long for a beer.

The "Top of the Hyatt" restaurant, located literally on the TOP of the hotel, offer great view over the downtown San Diego and also great selection of wines and drinks. I particularly liked the quotes on the windows, but I'll let you discover them yourself.

Lived in SD for 30 years and finally went to the top of the Hyatt. Great view of the Bay, the harbor, Coronado and the coast. Had a very average and very over priced cocktail. Good service. Basically for tourists.
