If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be on a floating city, this is it. Take a step back in time about 50 years and experience the excitement of being on-board one of America's most powerful war machines at the time. The museum is stocked with about every American-made military strike aircraft known to man. Take a seat... More

Very interesting and informative for young and old. There are fun things for the kids to do throughout the USS Midway they will love all the planes, there are some you can even go inside. There were two pilots who were giving talks about what it was like working on the USS Midway.

We should have stayed longer. The top part of the ship closed before we could get up there to see it. You have allow time to be up there and they shut it down at about 4:00 which is an hour before the attraction closes. Loved the ship though and the harbor it is in.

I think the USS Midway Museum is definitely worth visiting at least once in your life. Even if you aren't interested in the Military or the history of this ship, it is awesome just to see the size and magnitude of what we are able to produce. hard to believe this behemoth can float as big as it is! The... More

There are not many places in the world where you can fly in a simulator and then get photographed next to the same aircraft you just flown in(well sort of flown in). Visit the USS Midway museum and become part of the history. This museum is probably the only place on the West Coast where you can tour an aircraft... More

The volunteers on MIDWAY are fabulous. They've done a marvelous job highlighting various parts of the ship and the AUDIO TOUR is INCLUDED in the price of admission.

Reading about and looking at picture can never substitute seeing the real thing. It's impressive, fascinating and quite wheelchair adapted and accessible. Although it s apparent that a lot of effort was made I had to accept that I couldn't roll beyond certain obstacles or go inside where climbing in tight spaces is required. I used a narrow and short... More

There is so much to see, do and learn at the USS Midway. The veterans have great stories about their time on the ship. The variety of planes on display run from WW II to modern day. You could spend may hours just reading about and studying them. The below decks tour is eye opening, when you realize how crowded... More
