I always like to see what other teams have for ballparks, and how they compare against Fenway Park (our home field). My family was very impressed with Petco and consider it a highlight of our San Diego trip. The amenities, terrific sightlines, food service and location make Petco a great place to see a game and well worth a tour.... More

Our tour guide was informative and personable. Great experience and way to see a gorgeous ballpark! Highly recommend this inexpensive tour. $38 for two people- lasted about an hour and a half.

Home of the Padres, and I still love this ballpark. It is very accessible by car, bus, train, Petco Park is right downtown in beautiful San Diego. Adjacent to the gas lamp district, there are a hundred restaurants, bars, breweries and clubs within a few blocks. The ballpark itself has a dozen worthwhile dining establishments. A ballpark designed so you... More

Local food and local brews at Petco. Great place to catch a game. It's expensive, but not terribly expensive by professional sports stadium standards. At Petco you can still get a $5 beer. Excellent sightlines to the field. The "Park in the Park" is great for people with kids. Five bucks gets you in to the grassy hill beyond centerfield... More

We stopped at PETCO during our summer trip to San Diego. The Dodgers were in town so the L.A. crowd came down and filled half of the stadium. We got down there early and hung out in the "park inside the park" area of the outfield. It was the only thing open before the game I recommend buying parking passes... More

While visiting San Diego on pleasness, My home team, Texas Rangers, happen to be in town the night of my arrival. This is a nice, scenic downtown ballpark. I had a lot of fun, . . . especially since the Rangers won . . . in extra innings !!

Watched the Padres defeat the Cardinals on a Friday night in September. Wonderful MLB atmosphere and experience.

For starters it was an amazing game! This is a wonderfully easy stadium to maneuver. Tons of parking in the downtown area then Petco is within walking distance. Petco offers daytime tours. This is a must see if you happen to be in San Diego during a home game stretch.

I am a big Baseball fan, so this was a really cool experience. Our tour guide was Mike and he did a great job. The tour starts in left field where Mike gives the history of the stadium. We then moved into the back hallways and made out way to the visitors club house, then we moved to the visitors... More

I love the park for a bunch of reasons, but the parking is definitely not one of them. It's worth it to park at one of the further structures for less money and just walk. It's usually a nice walk anyway. I like sitting in upper right field because you can see just about everything-no obstructions. And what a view... More
