Let me start off this review by stating... I am a Giants fan - born and raised. HOWEVER, Petco Park has really stepped up their game amongst MLB ball parks. They have some really great (and local!) food and drink in this place that really enhances the experience for me. Phil's BBQ, Puesto, the Patio - lots of great, familiar... More

This was a beautiful event for the holidays and you can take Bus 11, 929 & 901 right to the gate. For the baseball games, the PADRES, its easier to take Trolleys and Buses, since parking is expensive. You can get cheap, last minute tickets, for $5, if you don't care where you have to sit. Otherwise, the tickets are... More

Took Family to San Diego and at the last moment decided to book a tour of Petco Park. The tour was so fun and informative. The tickets were inexpensive and the tour guide was fantastic. The behind the scenes of a professional sports team is truly fascinating. I am a Cubs fan...and am still a bit upset about what the... More

Petco Park is Awesome! First off, its right Downtown San Diego adjacent to the Gaslamp District - where the party never ends! There's TONS of fun places to go before/after the games (Restaurants, Bars, Hotels, etc)...Second, It's the Home Field for my SD PADS Baseball Team (so that's just Awesome in itself), Third, Its Cool how they built the stadium... I love the Padres - really I do, it's good entertainment, but more than anything else, this is a great place to go and sample a bunch of San Diego's best restaurants and craft beers.

This is the 3rd ballpark I've visited in California, and hands down the best! The downtown location is easy to get to and safe. The park is well staffed with friendly employees. The facilities are clean and there are a multitude of eateries and micro brews to choose from. The scoreboard and fireworks are impressive and there isn't a bad seat in... We saw Taylor Swift here. It was packed even on the field. We have stayed at the Omni next door and walked over for baseball games--especially convenient for visiting fans.

Attended the the Motocross races in Jan 2016. Great seats stadium style so others in front of you do not block your view. Best part is that you can carry in std. size un-opened bottle water along with sandwiches!! What a great feature, wish others would allow you to do this, it is very helpful when you bring a group... I got field tix for the concert using the pre-sale as an American Express customer. These seats are way better than the ones I bought for my daughter for Taylor Swift (which she didn't use and my husband and I went instead). Hoping being on the field will enhance the concert going experience. We had no problems accessing the area... More
