54 blocks in diameter, this area of San Diego is loaded with some of the be dining you will find. Would recommend.

Loved the area, walked around and saw lovely restaurants and yes the aroma smell of the Italian dishes was just so good.
A nice section of town with lots of pizza places. There are also some fine dining stops as well. Signs announce an Italian festival coming soon. If you take your time here you will be surprised at the hidden treasures you will run across.
Great area to find a place to eat and the parking is a little easier than the gas lamp district. Several great happy hours deals too.
This is an AWESOME AREA in San Diego. You can smell the different Italian foods when passing through. So many places to decide on. My favorite place was Buon Appetito! Spend some time in Little Italy.
If you're expecting any kind of Italian theme, you'll probably be disappointed. There are probably more Italian restaurants and some true ethnically Italian, but there are just as many non Italian, and lots of galleries and general shopping.
I love to explore the former ethnic neighborhoods that once were the foundations of the Soul of every American city. San Diego's Little Italy delivers Big time
I'm not sure if there would be much interest in Little Italy if it weren't for the food. We went to the Saturday Farmer's Market and had a fun time people-watching. A treat was live sea urchin, our first taste ever and it was great....More
accommodation can be had very close and food outlets very good and reasonably priced, growers market on saturdays and overall should not be left off trip to San Diego
