Located about one block from Old Town San Diego, this is a really interesting story of the settlement and history of San Diego. Free parking at Old Town which also has some neat displays and buildings.

Historically fascinating and close to Old Town San Diego. It is a church run site so you will run into folks on their mission. A must see if you have been to Salt Lake City

This place was a lot of fun for my kids to visit, ages 4, 8, 10, 13. It was informative and had a lot of historical items to look at. The presentation here is enjoyable and a lot of history is presented. Very enjoyable visit.

This is a must see for everyone. We aren't Mormons but their story touched us a great deal. Plus you get to pan for "gold" at the end.

A lot of care has gone into this and it is quite fun. It is interactive and the guides are rather sweet. I did feel that I needed to make a quick exit to avoid a little bit of preaching.

I thought this was very interesting. I did not know that the Mormons had come to California in the early days and that they had a fort and helped settle the state. If you are interested in CA history this is a place you need...More
