I admit coming from Chicago, when it comes to museums I tend to be spoiled. The San Diego Museum Art can definitely be a worthwhile afternoon spot depending on what you are looking for. The museum itself is beautiful and has a reasonable admission price....More

Rather than going to the beach on the 4th of July we went to the San Diego Museum of Art. It was a great move. The Richard Deacon exhibition, "What You See Is What You Get," is a stand out of contemporary sculpture using metal...More

Had a wonderful afternoon here gazing over some incredible works by some Spanish Old Masters, and art with alot of history with some of the works dating back some 7,000 years.

This museum has two floors of great art, both contemporary and old master. Highly recommended for adults, not so much for children.

This is an interesting museum to visit. I can see it would be fantastic for some people, but when we travelled here, there was a strange modern art display which really did not appeal to us, but could've to others.

This museum, beautifully situated in the heart of Balboa Pk, unfortunately has a very small and limited collection, in which there isvirtually NO Impressionist art. The art they do have is quite interestingly and intelligently displayed, with everything explained in English and Spanish. I feel...More
