Cannot do much if you are the driver but passengers enjoy a beautiful view with either direction you are going.

My husband drove over this very, very high bridge to Coronado and back to San Diego. My husband does not like heights and this bridge is high. Very cool though.

How is this even an attraction? Granted, it is a nice looking bridge and very convenient to get from the city out to Coronado Island, but this is not a destination and there is no walking on it. I could see rating the Golden Gate...More

Drove over the bridge twice and it was very impressive. It gave a great scenic out look on San Diego and Coronado.

If you are in San Diego, make sure you cross this bridge in both directions. You get a view of the city, Coronado Island and plenty of ships and water. A must do when in the area.

Went over this on a tourist trolley bus. Wow what a trip! Quite amazing how high this bridge actually is!

I went over on the Old Town Trolley and it was windy and scary. stay away if you have an ounce of vertigo in you. Go to Coronado on the 10 min ferry instead.

There are great views of this bridge from Coronado, the USS Midway and other places. When you get to the island there are lots of signs to slow down. There were no tolls when we went over, not sure if there ever is.

We went over this bridge on the Old town Trolley tour which is a great way to cross so everyone can look out at the shoreline of San Diego! As we crossed, a ship was going under the bridge which was interesting. If driving, you'd...More

probably by taxi ... I am sure that bus goes that direction, but could be a long ride especially if you have baggage
