My wife and I recently visited San Diego with friends. While there, we took the trolley tour. The tour took us over the Coronado bridge. The bridge is very interesting and designed with a large curve.

This bridge links San Diego to Coronado where I saw one of the best white sandy beaches so far on my USA trip. The bridge is over 3kms long and unfortunately has the second highest rate of suicide on a bridge in the USA.

Had forgotten how imposing the Coronado Bridge is since my last trip to San Diego. Rode over to and from the island in an Uber then later that evening had the pleasure of a bay cruise under the bridge at Sunset. A sight to behold!

It's a nice drive out to Coronado if you're looking for a way to spend part of the day. We drove over the bridge and out the long peninsula, parked ($2) and walked on the beach for a bit, then ate lunch at Coronado Brewing...More

The Coronado Bridge is a Beautiful sight to see in San Diego. Not your typical city bridge where it is all function. Our bridge stretches out over the water like a ribbon in the sky. It arches up moving towards the clouds and the gently...More

Highly recommend a visit across the bridge to the island. Check out the history to add to the experience. The bridge provides a great view of downtown San Diego as well as a gateway to Coronado Island.

I wouldn't really call this a tourist attraction - more a means to an end, but it is an attractive bridge and the easiest way to get to Coronado - which is totally worth a visit

probably by taxi ... I am sure that bus goes that direction, but could be a long ride especially if you have baggage
