I have been terrified of bridges my entire life. This one broke that fear and the prize of the beach on the other side made it all worth it.

The Coronado Bay Bridge is the shortest and quickest way to get to Point Loma or the Imperial Beach areas in San Diego. The Bridge used to have a $1.50 toll each way before the Bridge was paid off years ago. Now instead of driving 15 to 25 miles extra going around through imperial Beach to get to Point Loma,... More

We popped over to Coronado for a couple of hours for the first time. We have been to San Diego a few times but never been over the bridge...its quite an experience to drive over something that high and long! The trip resulted in a fantastic sunset, a beautiful beach and a little town that we would love to go... More

I've been to San Diego twice recently and both times travelled across the soaring Coronado Bridge. It's exhilarating and provides breathtaking views -- of the bay, of military installations, of downtown San Diego, and of the Mexico hills. Stay and visit the island itself, with its beautiful beaches, quaint and historic sites and buildings, and interesting and eclectic shopping. Hope... More

Crossing the bridge gives you breathtaking views of the boats, buildings and the beauty that San Diego is. The bridge itself is so high and beautiful that the sole crossing worths the visit to Coronado Island.

This bridge is amazing. Usually bridges are usually built straight across a body of water, however, this one had a large bend in it which was amazing. So happy that we got to travel over it.

Great views of the San Diego skyline and the Coronado Island. The bridge is free to cross but only allows vehicles... no foor or bike traffic. Avoid rush hours

Rather than driving its better to take the ferry to Coronado island. Ferry only 10 minutes ride and can see the bridge and take nice photos.
