Although it's brief as you transit, the view from the bridge is excellent. I suggest always getting in the right lane and always glancing to the right. That way you will look northwest on the way over to Coronado and southeast on the way back. And there's no toll (hasn't been for years) so why not? The only caveat is... More

Trip Advisor wants me to rate this. It is a bridge that connects San Diego City to the peninsula we call Coronado Island. The view is spectacular for passengers. Drivers can safely enjoy sunset views (going west) , but looking around driving over this is not advised. Once you GET to Coronado, though, stop at the park on the right just... More

The bridge to Coronado is breathtaking. It has very nice view of the water. It did not feel "scary".

This bridge is awesome! We totally didn't expect to drive on it but were happy we did, the kids got excited.

I've crossed the Coronado Bridge many times from San Diego to Coronado and the view is always mesmorizing. If you've never taken this trip before, I suggest that you be the passenger so that you can take in the whole view with admiration without worrying about other drivers. Because of the military bases in Coronado, early morning and late afternoon... More

Pretty cool to drive across to get to Coronado, but it's just a bridge at the end of the day. Great way to get somewhere fast.

Great to view from afar or drive upon in your car! It was especially fun to take a harbor boat tour and sail under it. There is a hidden "bell" in the design that you can only see from the water!

The Coronado Bridge is a beautiful feat of engineering dating back to the 1960s. It gives sweeping views of downtown San Diego, Coronado Island and the bay area. There are many options when it comes to seeing the bridge. Not only can you drive over it from Route 75 but you can float underneath on a Hornblower harbor cruise or... More
