My wife and I recently visited San Diego with friends. While there, we took the trolley tour. The tour took us over the Coronado bridge. The bridge is very interesting and designed with a large curve.

This bridge links San Diego to Coronado where I saw one of the best white sandy beaches so far on my USA trip. The bridge is over 3kms long and unfortunately has the second highest rate of suicide on a bridge in the USA.
Took the bus from Down Town San Diego to spend the day on Coronado Island amazing place with great shops, beaches, and food.

It's a nice drive out to Coronado if you're looking for a way to spend part of the day. We drove over the bridge and out the long peninsula, parked ($2) and walked on the beach for a bit, then ate lunch at Coronado Brewing...More
I wouldn't really call this a tourist attraction - more a means to an end, but it is an attractive bridge and the easiest way to get to Coronado - which is totally worth a visit
