Coronado Bridge

We only crossed the bridge to get to Coronado, which is always beautiful. I find the bridge a little scary but what a view!

The bridge connects San Diego to Coronado. Its nice & high so you get a view across the bay although you have to be quick.

A must see if you are in San Diego! Go early to get a good park. Take plenty of sunscreen and fluids. Views are amazing. Also, must see Hotel de Coronado. Easy access to Pacific Ocean, views, and plenty of sunshine.

We could see the bridge from our hotel room and decided we needed to travel across it in our rental car. So glad that we did. A remarkable bridge with a lot of moving (thankfully) traffic and no toll.

Although Coronado is a beautiful destination, the journey is the best part of the trip!! Drive it when the fog clears.

The bridge looks very impressive from a distance, but all that can be seen as you cross are concrete sides - so we were a little disappointed with the drive over. Would have been lovely if there was a walking or cycling lane to get an idea of the view, as I can imagine it would be impressive.

The bridge is such an iconic view in San Diego, but it's not an attraction or a thing to "do" unless you're fortunate enough to participate in the annual bridge run/walk that the Navy hosts each May. Great exercise, fabulous views--fun way to spend a Sunday morning.

Absolutely lovely bridge connecting mainland with Coronado island. Looks great from land and even better from the ferry and the Island.

The Coronado Bay Bridge has come along way in the 39 years after it was built. The 200 ft high bridge used to have a $1.50 toll each way before the Bridge was paid off years ago. So now it is Free to drive over the bridge from several different freeway systems and get to the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado,... More

For a bridge, this is certainly a pretty one! Only problem with me writing a review, I have an insane fear of bridges. Yep, so with that said, this is still a breath taking view just takes my breath for fear AND beauty.
