Art of the Open Air

Another free exhibit it Balboa Park. This one is great and it includes a Rodin amongst the diverse group of sculptures. I have added a few photos, it could have been a lot more.

Everything in this park is great. The sculpture garden had outdoor dancing and music when I was there.

Glad we came across the sculpture in Balboa park. It was very cool to check out and see and it's free! They have tons of sculptures and you can get up close and personal too.

Approximately once a month, I took my granddaughter to Balboa Park to catch a puppet show. We always had a blast as Balboa Park has much free entertainment for a child. One of the many things she loved to do was to climb on, and across the dragon in the sculpture garden. Of course, Grandma was always required to take... More

I found the well manicured lawn amidst interesting sculptures and flora to be very peaceful. Nestled among the major museum attractions and eateries of Balboa Park it was a wonderful place to reflect. So much so that I witnessed many had brought blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy in this open air garden.

Small collection, open for roaming before anything else is. Walking amongst sculpture is always a good moment.

I enjoyed having dinner at the Panama Cafe in Balboa Park. During dinner one could see the amazing sculptures at the sculpture garden. There are just a few pieces but quite nice to see especially with the changing sky that day with the interesting clouds. There is also a green park area with more pieces to explore. While nice, it...
