This old town is the real location in the beginning of inhabitation in San Diego. Old buildings and architectures are preserved as they were in old days. Most buildings are souvenir shops, restaurants, cafe, museums and hotels. It's cold in December but it 's easy walking among sunlight without any difficulties. Shades of trees are also plentiful. The restrooms are... More

Everything I saw was so colorful and the people and wait staff are dressed in full regalia, loved it. Loved the food and had the best Mango margarita ever!

Old town is a great place to get some culture and do some quirky shopping. There are a number of varied stores and the Mexican plaza is particularly attractive with live acts in the dining area. The main road is full of restaurants and souvenir shops . there is limited on street parking and lots off the main street.

My boyfriend and I came to Old Town for a visit. We got there right before everything was opening. We enjoyed going through the Whaley House and looking in the shops. We very much enjoyed our breakfast at Café Coyote. The food was very good and my cup of Pepsi was huge.

This was a wonderful stop on our week in SD. The actors and the buildings are amazing. Plan on spending between 2-3 hours here if you want to go through all the buildings and interact with the staff. Plenty of places to eat and shop as well. Great time and DO NOT MISS the schoolhouse.

This park was very interesting. Easy to get to by public transport, there a tram stop just over the road from the main entrance. It was very interesting walking around and finding out about the histories of the buildings. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Some interesting and unusual shops and cafes.

Love this place. It has a special atmosphere, great shopping and wonderful food. I really liked the visitor center for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. Great history there too.
