This is a charming area and we would have liked to spend more time there. We were on a tour and only had time for lunch and just a little time to explore. I heard while we were there that they were going to be doing away with this area to redevelopment.

Right on the San Diego Bay, its an easy walk from anywhere downtown. It is filled with small shops selling everything you might expect in a tourist area. Lots of places to pick from for places to eat. Prices are a bit on the high side, the area is very clean and well kept. Public rest rooms are avaialbe.

Pleasant area to stroll around with shops and restaurants near the water. There is a variety of restaurants from sandwiches or ice cream to more upscale. Stores for T shirts or some Mexican pottery.

Unique shops providing a super browsing and walking opportunity, with great restaurants nearby and a wonderful view of the Harbor and the Coronado Bridge. A must see and do. Lots of locals walking and jogging and generally enjoying their waterfront....beautiful San Diego at its best.

Nice area along the water, but with impending redevelopment merchants are leaving. Needs a facelift.

Great shopping area with lots of variety. Good way to spend a few hours. Safe. Good eating too, especially the Cheesecake Factory. Only bad thing is that they charge an extra 3% service tax on all purchases using a credit card.

This is a great spot to walk around and be close to the ocean. The shops are fun to go in but are extremely expensive. Look at the restaurants on yelp before going in as they are hit and miss.

How can you visit San Diego and not walk by the water or visit cute little shops? It's a must. There's a bunch of stores and walkways to just stroll with your family or a friend. Very casual.

Other than the parking problem, this is a great way to spend a few hours next to the water way and visit the various shops. It has been announced to the vendors that the historic Seaport Village will give way to 3 luxury hotels. It is a real shame to lose such a wonderful place to spend a few hours.
