We visited San Diego with our 15 and 11 year old boys. Our hotel was adjacent to Seaport Village. Seaport has the docks for boaters staying at the Marriott Hotel, and the dock area is beautiful. Seaport itself is what I would consider a typical...More

We walked through the village enjoying the shops. A great place to take kids and appreciate the views. There are clothes shops, food and various specialty stores. The harbor views are worth the walk. Great view of USS Midway close by.

Lots of small gift shops in a confined area alongside the wharf in downtown. The Christmas Shop is well worth a second look as was the Coffee and Bookshop where we rested our bones, had an enjoyable coffee while reading a good book or two.

There is a charge for parking in the lot and walking around, yes restaurants validate. If you will be hanging around the area all day, cheapest parking if north of the USS Midway.

It is my understanding all parking meters in California are free to anyone displaying a handicapped placard. With that said there are a lot of parking meters in the area.

Hi John, While we do have designated spots for those with a handicap sticker or plates the parking rate is the same as anyone else who parks in the lot. No discounts. Hope this helps. Megan Madrigal Marketing... More
