Worth a visit if you are in to ghost hunting. Like all houses like this I suggest you take the tour. In the self guided tour a lot of info about the haunting is left out.

Always interesting to see historical sites. The woman working during my visit was more busy watching my son than teaching about the history. May not be a place to bring children or teens unless they are the kind that stay by your immediate side the...More

Interesting premise, with the historical home and ghost stories but our tour guide was giving his first tour and he left a lot to be desired! If you get Alex, wait for a tour by Molly or Brandon - the Victorian Millennial. They were much...More

Overall I enjoyed the self guided tour it was a bit over priced but the staff was informative. I really enjoyed learning about the history.

I'm a sucker for historical buildings. This little tour was informative, our guide was "in character" and the items in the home were something to see. It is touted as "Haunted" and strange blurry pictures on our phones afterward gave us quite a thrill. My...More

This was a fun, quick activity in a cool area of town! I did an evening tour of the house, and it was a lot of fun in the candlelight- pretty creepy! The tour guides dress up in period costumes, and have great stories to...More

I went to this museum with my son while on vacation and per the recommendation of the our hotel's concierge. For the historical aspects, it was quite interesting; however, I thought the price was high since it is a self-guided tour and takes only about...More

Whaley house was on my top places to see in San Diego, mostly because of Ghost Adventures. Prices were cheap for the area. Tour guide was ok. He forgot lots of important facts and apparently didn’t like it when history nerds questioned his comments. I...More
