Disappointing Experience during COVID.
Apr 2021
SeaWorld after COVID is a disappointing experience. We use to go at least 5 times a year. My kids use to love this place. Now you need to be ready to wait 30-40 minutes to enter the parking lot. Then, you have to get in a 2 mile line to take your temperature check. After waiting in line for a temperature check for at least an hour, then you need to wait in line again to get your bags check and enter the park. It will take you at least 2 hours to enter the park! No one is supervising the temperature check lines. Therefore, you have people not wearing masks, smoking and cutting into the line. Right behind us, we had an African American family where one of the adults was smoking pot and others were vaping. Half of the people did not respect the 6 feet apart rule and did not follow the safety protocols. Once inside the park there are more lines for everything. Half of the rides are closed. We were really disappointed with our visit.

Great shows but bad food
Apr 2021 • Family
We stayed here one day and really enjoyed the shows with the animals. The place is crowded so get prepared to stay in line for most of the day. The food is really crappy and we had to stay in line for 40 Mn before getting anything. The place is a bit faded and old.

disloyal officials
Apr 2021
I asked to extend my tickets for an additional year from 2020 to 2021 because with the pandemic the French cannot travel to the United States; the answer was yes. The situation has still not changed, but seaworld is no longer able to extend my tickets; I find that really dishonest especially since it was for more than 400 dollars and that all the other parks, hotels, attractions accepted.

Worst Amusement Park Experience I've ever had.
Mar 2021
This was the worst theme park experience I have ever had. I went with my husband and two children. There were lines for everything, starting with parking, where it took 40 minutes to simply get through the 4 lane line. The worst, and saddest part of the trip for me was that the food and drink stands were mostly closed, so the few that were open had insanely long lines, even to buy water. It was 86 degrees, and of course, due to COVID, water fountains are no where to be found - but there are very few places to buy water throughout the park. I was left very disappointed and dehydrated.

The park is also pretty run down. They are understaffed and the few staff members available are unable to answer simple questions. Also, they no longer hand out maps. You have to use your phone and a QR code. Now, lets talk about the BS reserved seating I paid for. $100 for my family of 4 for what?? Seats in the hot sun, no where near the action, aka the splash zone, which you would have to arrive 40 minutes early for. I was so, so disappointed with our trip.

Beyond the few shows running, there were 40+ minute lines to see the sharks and turtles, and even for the tide pools. For all the COVID restrictions, distancing was not enforced in lines, and the park was so overcrowded, probably because of the financial loss the park suffered being closed over the last year. To compensate for all those people, and the heat, water should have been more readily available for purchase. I cannot emphasize enough how this poorly effected our trip. It is such an easy fix too - they could have staff walking around during shows selling water and snacks, but no, all they have is a poorly regulated audience dismissal system.

Long story short, this park is a sad remnant of what it was. The lack of available water during extreme heat was dangerous, and I was beyond disappointed with our visit. Also, we arrived in the line to get into the parking lot around 10:30. By the time we parked and got into the park it was like 11:40. We saw the dolphin show, orca show, sea lion show, and sharks. We paid for reserved seating which was SO STUPID and not beneficial at all (no splash zone - which should have been made clear before purchase) and we left the park around 5 pm. We were thirsty, hungry and tired and we didn't feel like waiting in line for drinks or to see a 5 minute turtle or eel exhibit. DO BETTER, Sea World!

Sea World’s website has been low-functioning for about six weeks now. You can look up FAQs and check the schedule, but if you want to buy tickets, passes, or reserve a day, the website does not allow you to do this (normally it does).

Solution-call and wait on hold for, I’m not exaggerating, 30-60 minutes to get a harried customer service rep. I feel awful for them, every single caller must be annoyed for waiting on hold for so long!

Once you get there, they have entrance organized well and that went smoothly for my family. All the staff is nice and helpful.

Attractions are great, I’ve been going since I was a kid and I recently became a pass holder again after a few years. But the problem right now is that even though they are limiting admission due to lockdown restriction, they restrict access to everything, including outdoor stuff. So if you want a soda from an area where they have a self-serve area, you have to wait in line again for, not exaggerating, 15-20 minutes. Because they don’t want people there? But they’re all together standing in line anyway, plus we’re outside! And there are a bunch of food and drink stands that are closed which makes no sense. Open all available food/drink stands and you’ll have fewer people congregating in the same area.

I went to guest services and there were eight registers, but only one was staffed, and no joke-12 groups of people waiting in line. Why have eight registers and only one open? I got out of line, but it was frustrating because the only alternative is to call and wait on hold with customer service (again).

I went on a weekend during Spring Break, why weren’t there more staff and food stands open during a notoriously busy time? Plus, since they take reservations to get into the park, they know exactly how many people will be going. They could plan accordingly, but for some reason they don’t.

I really hope they are going through a transition time right now and will get things straightened out. Giving two stars because the attractions are still amazing, and the small amount of staff that is there are friendly and nice.

Tired, Run Down Park With Lacking Covid Precautions
Mar 2021 • Friends
Sea World has been on a long, steady decline for sometime now. Besides the park being beyond tired and run down, they advertise covid safety precautions but don’t enforce them! No enforcement of mask requirements, no distancing in lines and multiple hand sanitizer stations were either broken or empty.

It was so bad, I cancelled my platinum annual pass.

Long lines for Everything!!
Mar 2021
Avoid Sea World during COVID. It took 45 minutes to get through the parking gate and park. Another 45 minute line at the front gate even though we had tickets. Only 3 shows are playing and if you don’t get in line a half hour before the show you won’t get in. The penguins, shark exhibit, etc. all had lines over half hour wait. A bottle of water was $4, churros $6, hot dog $8, funnel cake $8. We were so tired of waiting in long lines for everything, I mean everything. It seemed like half of the park was closed including food stands. Worst theme park experience I’ve ever had.

Disappointment
Jun 2020
Guess I expected more. The tickets are super expensive. The food and drinks are expensive and the food is not good. We walked the whole park and not once did my kids say "look at that" or "cool".
