Was driving thru Tupelo on the way back from vacation and it dawned on me that Elvis was from Tupelo, thought I would check out his birth place on a lark. Boy what a treat I found. The place is small, but the grounds are...More

We went expecting to pay the senior rate of $14 for the combination of the church, the home and the museum. The church was not available due to an employee not showing up. The couple in front of us got a $4 dollar discount from...More

Lots of relevant history, but on our visit we had a broken cinema, broken coffee and broken service. No one seemed to care people had travelled so far to be there for no real effort to fix anything. Do visit but do not expect everything...More

This was a neat little stop in Tupelo. There was the childhood home of Elvis, the church Elvis attended as a child, an outhouse, a museum and a church/meeting space on the grounds.

We decided just to visit the home, although for an extra fee one can also see the inside of the church that Elvis attended. It is also located here.

For Elvisfans a must, but even for anyone else! Nice cut area where you can walk around the house without paying. Nice shop and a museum for the ones who want to pay.

We took this private day trip from Memphis to Tupelo with cjcluxurytransportation.com (901-413-2062) who we would highly recommend. They collected us from The Guesthouse at Graceland at 7.30am and we arrived in Tupelo approx 9.30am. Along the journey they gave a brief history of Elvis'...More

I thought he ascended from above. Definitely worth the stop when in the area. Amazing how people lived in simple houses, when now a McMansion isn't enough. Also the church that the Presley's attended has been moved to the site and restored. I have to...More

It is 17$ to go into the museum, the shotgun house and the church. If you stay outside, you can still take pictures of everything. It is worth it to see the inside of the TWO room house. There is a nice lady who can tell you... More
