Good visit for Elvis fans

Pretty cool place to visit if you have an interest in Elvis, from the very early years with the home, to the display inside from the later times in his life.

I enjoyed walking the Elvis grounds, however, I think $9 for a five minute look at the two rooms of the house which have furniture of that time period (but not the Presleys') is a bit much. The grounds are nicely kept up and the signs are informative and statues interesting. However, I wouldn't do the buildings again.

The museum closes at 5 pm and we arrived shortly before 4:30 pm on Sunday evening. We took advantage of a beautiful spring day and walked around the entire complex. We really enjoyed seeing the blocks in front of the house with information pertaining to certain years in Elvis' life. Would enjoy going back for a full fledged tour someday.... More

I thought this would be a bust but I was wrong. We enjoyed learning about his humble beginnings and all the personal stories from relatives and friends about his life. You don't have to be a fan to appreciate his underdog story. My fave was his mother saved to buy him a birthday gift for his eleventh birthday. He wanted... More

Small but interesting attraction with a lot of items that will get you thinking about where he came from and what his early life must have been like. Gave my husband and I something to talk about on the ride back to Indiana. Well maintained with room to grow. Should be seen by any real Elvis fan.

The grounds around Elvis's birthplace and museum are beautiful. The museum is well maintained and had interesting items about Elvis's life. It was a bit disappointing because of the size of the museum and prices of the exhibit and things in the gift shop.

I visited the history of the birthplace, museum and church of Elvis Presley. Oh how I loved him and I loved finally getting to see his birthplace and museum. He passed away in 1977 and a Memorial Foundation was formed to govern and oversee the birthplace and facilities. He was the King of Rock 'n Roll. I was not disappointed.... More

Hard to believe that it all began here. Since my last visit some years ago, they've opened a pretty nice theater just off the gift shop. Showing when we were there was a nicely done historical retrospective on the early life of the King. While their museum is nice the must see is the church building that was moved onto... More

We arrived there late but it was all lit up and pristine. Looked well kept and beautiful and serene. It was cool to see the bricks stacked under the porch.

Definitely worth a stop. No need to spend hours here. A few great photo ops. You need a ticket to go inside the home, but walking around outside is no charge.
